Conference Schedule

Student Sign-In & Breakout Room Assignments 

9:30–10:00 am (TBD) 

Registration will open at 9:30 AM. Breakout rooms will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend arriving early to secure your first choice. This is also a great opportunity to pick up your materials, meet fellow attendees, and get ready for a day full of insightful discussions!

Introductory Remarks

10:00-10:15 am (TBD) 

The conference will begin with a warm welcome and opening remarks by a member of the CCWA Youth Advisory Committee. Our youth organizers will set the stage and provide an overview of the day’s events. 

Keynote Speaker

10:15–10:45 am  (TBD)

We’re excited to feature our keynote speakers who will share their expertise with us. Get ready for an inspiring and thought-provoking address that will set the tone for the rest of the conference. 

Break

10:45-11:00 am

Take a short break to stretch, grab a snack and a drink, and connect with other attendees. It’s a great time to meet other students before heading out to the breakout rooms! 

Issue Breakout Rooms 

11:00–12:00 pm (Immigration- TBD, Mental Health- TBD, International Conflict- TBD)

All sessions will be moderated by our Youth Advisory Committee members. Breakout sessions will feature expert panels on climate change, reproductive rights, and mental health, with interactive elements! 

Lunch & Action Lounge

 12:00–1:00 pm (TBD) 

Enjoy a delicious lunch while checking out our Action Lounge on the 2nd floor! The Action Lounge will feature organizations and groups focused on youth empowerment, climate change, reproductive rights, and mental health education. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the important work these groups are doing and how you can get involved! 

Interactive Debrief Session

1:00–1:45 pm (TBD) 

In this debrief session, you'll have the opportunity to share what you've learned through an interactive activity and connect with other attendees through an interactive activity. 

Wrap-Up

1:45–2:00 pm (TBD) 

A member of our Youth Advisory Committee will wrap up the conference with inspiring concluding remarks including how YOU can get involved in planning next year’s Youth Agenda Conference!
